Prime Minister Phạm Minh Chính attended the COP28 climate summit in Dubai over the weekend, leading to a small flurry of news.
He spoke at a seminar on phasing out coal-fired power plants chaired by French President Emmanuel Macron and met with Ajay Banga, the World Bank’s president, during which the finance group said it may provide loans worth up to US$7 billion for several projects in Vietnam.
