VinFast hits a speed bump

VinFast’s Numbers
On December 25, 2021, VinFast delivered a Christmas present to customers: the company’s first electric cars, namely the US$30,000 VF e34 compact SUV. This was inarguably an impressive achievement: VinFast went from creation to putting EVs on the road in less than five years.
The company said it would deliver about 100 more cars through the final week of December, before ramping up to roughly 2,000 in January. It also claimed that over 25,000 orders for the VF e34 had already been placed.
However, data from February shows that VinFast may have hit one of its first stumbles.
